This stone was in place the first time I visited this cemetery in 1969, and I believe still in the 1980s, but I have been unable to find it recently. As I recall it was located on the right as one walked up the hill to the oldest part of the cemetery past the Williams' family vault.
It was also inventoried by the people who did the transcriptions of Bond Co. cemeteries.
I have so far been unable to definitely place this lady in the Brown family, assuming that she is a member of the Ohio family of the Pocahontas-Old Ripley vicinity. Possibly she could be the wife of Simon and Martha Williams Brown's son William Williams Brown, who married Eliza Prosser in Winnebago Co., IL, during the several years that his parents lived there.
