DENNIS ‑Stanley Earl Ables, 84, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at his home. He was a native of Prentiss County. He was a retired butcher after 3o years and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Services will be at 2 P. M. Sunday at Deacon Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with the Rev. Billy Adams officiating. Burial will be in Dennis Memory Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Florine Ables of Dennis; three daughters, Juanita Free of Vardaman. and Cathy Hunter and Alma Lewis, both of Den­nis; three sons, Stanley Ables Jr. of New Site, and Paul Ables and Jerry Ables, both of Dennis; one sister, Lee Williams of Memphis; two brothers, V. E. Ables and A .V. Allies, both of Iuka ; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great‑great‑grand­children.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carol Smitherman; a great‑grandson, Jason Free; his par­ents, Dave and Roxie Hicks Ables; a sister, Demple Ables; and three brothers, Elmer Ables, J. C. Allies and Larce Ables.

Pallbearers will be Hayden Ables, Ben Smith, Benford Pierce, Carlos Sartain, Frank Woolen and Wayne Allen.
