A native of Russia, Mr. Broscoff ws born March 7, 1887, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Broscoff, now both deceased.
His marriage to Francinia Meniekov took place in Russia on November 8, 1906. The following year, they emigrated from their homeland to the United States, locating first in Colorado and later coming to Minnesota. They farmed for some time in the vicinity of New Richland and Hartland before moving to Waseca.Mr. Broscoff was employed at the local Swift and company plant for eight years.
Surviving children are Oley and Sam Broscoff and Mrs. Frank Klessigg of Owatonna, John and Andrew Broscoff and Mrs. Stanley Larsen of Minneapolis and Steven Broscoff who lives in Michigan. Eight grandchildren also survive. Two daughters died in infancy.
Friends may call at the Peterson Funeral Home until 1:00 p. m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday at Calvary Episcopal church, with the Rev. Wm. C. Wedge officiating.
Casket bearers will be Joe Soper, Pete Sprengeler, Paul Stucky, Art Yess, Henry Mokoff and Ed Bell. Interment will be in Woodville cemetery.
The family requests no flowers.
