Rose is the sixth child of ten born to John and Elizabeth Carter. Rose was a twin. She and her sister Nancy were big babies, not your typical twins. Grandma said they were almost 8 lbs apiece. Rose had beautiful natural curly hair, and she was very proud of that. All she had to do was comb it and she looked like she came from the beauty parlor. Rose loved her sisters and enjoyed following them everywhere. She was never without the company of her twin sister Nancy.

Rose married John Robinson and to them a beautiful daughter was born. Pamela. Rose was very proud of her daughter and Pam was the light her her life. Her marriage ended with John after a short time.

Rose had a difficult life and she endured many struggles, but she was always a loving and cheerful woman. She loved to play cards and tell stories. She was always concerned that she was tidy and well groomed. She was generous and kind to everyone. Rose lived in Pennsylvania, then Michigan, then Idaho and back to Pennsylvania to be close to her daughter and grandsons.

Rose died of lung cancer and is survived by her devoted daughter, Pamela and two beautiful grandsons.
