Gustave Philip Boehmer was born December 4, 1869 on a farm near New Haven, MO, where he resided his entire life. He departed this earthly life on July 13, 1951 at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 9 days.
He was confirmed at the Evangelical Ebenezer Church, Boeuf Creek, Franklin County, MO, on April 6, 1884 by Rev. A. Fismer. He was united in Holy Matrimony on May 2, 1903 at Leslie, MO, to Emma Hillebrenner. This union was blessed with six children, one son Gustave, preceded him in death.
He leaves to sadly mourn his departure his beloved wife; 3 daughters, Miss Gladys Boehmer of St. Louis, Frances Fischer of Corder, MO, Edda Niehans of Creve Coeur, MO; 2 sons, Hayward and Arthur Boehmer of New Haven; 2 daughters-in-law; 2 sons-in-law; 8 grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins; a host of other near relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, July 15, 1951 at 3:30 p.m. at the Senate Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Carroll Hurd officiating. Interment was in the Church Cemetery.
