Her ashes, along with Millard's, were spread at sea.

Through her grandfather, William H.H. Wilcox , and his mother, Anna Gertrude (Eacker) Wilcox, she is a descendant of Capt. George Herkimer (sometimes referred to as Colonel), who with his more famous brother, General Nicholas Herkimer , fought in the Revolutionary War.
