REGIS ADAMS DIES SUDDENLY IN HIGHWAY AT CROSS ROADS
Scottdale, April 13. - Regis Adams, 32 years old, of Cross Roads, died suddenly yesterday afternoon on the highway near the home of Quint W. Rist at Cross Roads.
Mr. Adams was on his way to Scottdale. It is believed a heart attack was responsible. Mrs. Rist and Charles Hall, who saw him fall, ran to the spot. He was dead when they arrived. Mr. Adams had served in the Marines at Parris Island, S. C., until 1921, since which time he had been employed as barber in Connellsville, Scottdale and Mount Pleasant. He had been employed at Schindle's shop at Mount Pleasant for several months, leaving there the first of this week on account of ill health. He had been suffering from heart trouble.
He is survived by his father, with whom he lived. The body was removed to the Murphy Funeral Home, where it may be viewed until Sunday afternoon.
The funeral service will be at Pennsville Baptist Church Sunday at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
