Gregory Lee Adams, 24, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania died peacefully on Friday, February 19, 2010, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 3, 1985 in Hilton Head, South Carolina son of David L. Adams of Mesa, Arizona and Karen Thomas Adams of Uniontown.
Gregory graduated from Uniontown Area High School and was a Deans List student at the Westmoreland County Community College, Uniontown Campus, where he was majoring in business. He was employed at the school as a Reception Clerk. A most loving and caring man, Greg enjoyed simple pleasures: spending time with his family and friends, traveling, playing video games and eating sushi dinners. He loved to spend time with his sons, holding them, reading them bed time stories and playing with them. He spent many hours hitting golf balls with his younger brother, Phillip Adams, of Uniontown and beating many opponents at chess. With a kind heart he was always ready to help others in need.
In addition to his parents and brother, he is survived by his wife, Latisha Bryant, and their sons, Angelo Giovanni Adams and Lorenzo Anthony Adams; a sister, Emily Adams of Mesa, Arizona; paternal grandmother, Irene Adams, and maternal grandparents, Pat and Paul Thomas, all of Uniontown. Also surviving are special aunts: Laura Griffin, Renne Thomas and Robin Johnson all of Uniontown; as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, where the family will receive friends on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 8 until 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Greg's Life will be held in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church on North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, at 9:30 a.m. with Rev.
