Leo Abbas Leo LeRoy Abbas, 66, died August 30, 1995, at his home in Kanawha. Leo was born on July 3, 1929, in Britt to Chris and Grace Prull Abbas. He attended country schools and also the Kanawha High School. On November 26, 1950, he married Faye Corlew at the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church parsonage. The couple made their home on a farm in Kanawha. Leo enjoyed fishing in Northern Minnesota and also farming. He was a member of the Kanawha Christian Reformed Church.
Survivors included his wife, Faye; their children, Pamela Miller and her husband LeRoy; Wayne and his wife Laura; Lory Shippy and her husband Larry; Debora Abbas and Vickey Anderson and her husband, Les; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
