GAZETTE TELEGRAPH [Colorado Springs, CO] obit headline: Judson E. McArthur, Resident 55 Years, Dies

"Judson E. McArthur, long-time resident of Colorado Springs for more than 55 years, died Sunday morning at a local hospital.

"A retired carpenter, Mr. McArthur had lived in Colorado Springs since 1897 and had been associated with the St. Clair Oil Company for more than 20 years in the refining department.

"Survivors include four sons, Edgar McArthur and Olin McArthur, both of Colorado Springs; Earl McArthur, Denver, and Jack McArthur, currently stationed with the Air Force at Ft. Belvoir, VA; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Ma[r]y McFarland, Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Anita Larson [sic], Austin, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Lulu Stanton, Colorado Springs; Mrs. Grace Bond, Bakersfield, CA; and five grandchildren.

"[Mr.] McArthur's wife, Mrs. Anna E. McArthur, died in 1946.

"Swan Funeral Home has charged of funeral arrangements which are to be announced at a later date."
