Actress, Dialect Coach, and Voice and Speech Consultant. She was born in 1948 to parents David Clarke and Nora Dunfee who were also actors and dialect coaches, and voice and speech consultants. Her younger sister is actress Susan Dunfee Clarke-Bennett. She appeared in the 1957 Broadway show Under Milk Wood and served as Dialect Coach in the shows She Loves Me (1993), The Rose Tattoo (1995), Garden District (1995), Bus Stop (1996), Tartuffe (1996), Steel Pier (1997), and 1776 (1997). She also served as a Voice and Speech Consultant for The Miser (1990). She also worked as a Dialect Coach for the films After the Storm (2001) and The Salton Sea. Her only film appearance was in the movie American Raspberry (1977). She also appeared in tv shows such as The Patty Duke Show, The Bob Newhart Show, Police Woman, Starsky and Hutch, and The Paper Chase. She married actor Tom Ligon in 1976. She passed away on March 23rd 2009 after a long illness.
