Harry (sic) Elwood Adams was born March 21, 1876 in Merrick County and passed away at his home in Palmer March 19, 1924. Age 47 years, 11 months and 29 days. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. George Adams who preceded him in death several years ago.
He was united in marriage to Miss Esther Glause Sept. 25, 1912. They have resided from this date to the present in their home in Palmer.
Harry has been a constant sufferer for over two years and has been unable to be out of his home for the past four months, constantly growing weaker until the end came.
He leaves to mourn, his wife and three sisters, Mrs. Cora Gugin of Sheffield, South Dakota, Mrs. Laura Peck of Clarks, Nebr. and Mrs. Jesse Cresse of Omaha, Nebr., many other relatives and host of friends.
Harry was one of our younger pioneers. He was one of those honest type of men who made lasting friends with everyone who knew him. He never had a word to say about anyone unless it was something pleasant and always strived to make the other fellow's life more cheerful.
Services were conducted by H. H. Utterbach at the Christian Church Saturday afternoon, March 22nd. Interment made in Rose Hill Cemetery.
