Norman A. Bachelder of Cottage Grove died June 18 at the age of 76. Funeral Services were held Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Franz Schubert officiating. Mr. Bachelder was born Oct. 23, 1898 in Plymouth, Me.
Mr. Bachelder Moved from Main to California and later moved to Cottage Grove in 1922.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; three children; Harold and Bernard of Cottage Grove and Lois Ourada of Aloha; two brothers, Wilson of Cottage Grove and Almon Gilmore of New York; eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Burial was at Fir Grove Cemetery. Smith-Lund Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
