Died, at him home near Vale, Monday, March 4 1909, Mr. William Shelton Boston. He was entering on his 69th year, having been born in Hart County, Kentucky, on June 15, 1832. He was married here to Miss Mary Brooks in 1355 (*editing to correct that they were married in 1856), and made his home till 1856, when he moved to Missouri. In 1884 he came to Oregon and settled in this valley, where he lived until his death. Mr. Boston was a kind father, true and sympathetic husband and a loving brother. He leaves behind two brothers, a loving wife and thirteen children, seven boys and six girls, to mourn his loss.
