John J. 'Bud' Crane, age 78, of Hatfield, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2000 in Hatfield, AR.
Mr. Crane was born December 11, 1921 in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late George W. Crane, Sr. and the late Myrtle Griffin Crane, He was united in marriage to Ava Mae Williams, Mr. Crane served in the U.S. Army for 21 years. He was a member of the Hatfield United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: Wife, Ava Mae Williams Crane of Hatfield, Arkansas; step sons: David A Rachal of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Herman J. Rachal of Memphis, Tennessee, Nathan P. Rachal of Jacksonville, Florida; 3 step grandchildren; several other family members; a host of friends.
Funeral service were Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000 at 10:30 a.m at the Hatfield United Methodist church with Rev. Virgil Bell officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hatfield under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Mike Oglesby, Steve Oglesby, Craig Crane, Donnie Gentry, Houston Taylor and Edward Williams. Honorary pallbearers were all other nephews of Mr. Crane.
Memorials may be made to the Methodist Childrens Home.
