Independence--Michael A. Braziel, 5, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norvell W. Braziel, 4991/2 Boat Landing St., Independence, died Sunday morning at a Salem Hospital from leukemia.
Born in Salem June 23, 1955, the youngster had suffered from the ailment for more than a year.
Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Nancy, Independence, grandparents, Arthur R. Braziel, Monmouth, and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hedrick, Independence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Smith-Krueger Mortuary. Interment will follow at Hill Top Cemetery at Independence. Rev. Charles Shaw will officiate.
