PFAFFTOWN -- Bobby Lee Davis Sept. 11, 1933 ~ April 28, 2011 Mr. Bobby Lee Davis went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 28, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Forsyth County September 11, 1933 to the late Ada Chandler Davis and William Henry Davis. Mr. Davis proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Roadway Express with 33 years of service. He attended Pfafftown Baptist Church. Mr. Davis was a loving, devoted companion, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by six siblings. Surviving are his soulmate, Toleda "T" Wilhelm; daughter, Angie Fansler (Keith); son, Christopher Davis (Angie); three grandchildren, Jennifer, Shane, and Crystal; one step-grandson, Logan; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, MaKayla and Lucas; two brothers, Jimmy and Tommy Davis; sister, Lana Kite; also numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. John Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of WFBMC and Hospice with a special thanks to Dr. Heidi Klepin, Dr. Kim Kensley and CNA - Mindy Hache.
