MR. BAGGETT
Funeral services for Claude Lee Baggett, 61, of 2420 39th Ave. North, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Brown-Service Chapel, Rev. Hewlett Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill.
Mr. Baggett died Saturday at a local hospital. He was a native of Jefferson County and a former employee of Republic Steel Corp. Mr. Baggett was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Doris Lillian Baggett; three sons, C.L. Baggett, Houston, Tex, and Calvin and Gary Baggett, both of Birmingham; a daughter, Miss Claudett Baggett; mother, Sudie Baggett ; a brother, Louis Baggett and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Howton and Mrs. Mildred Bright, all of Birmingham.
Note: A mistake was made on Claude's birth year on his marker.
