Allison, Jessica L. (Newcomb) ALBANY Jessica L. "Smiley" (Newcomb) Allison, 29, born December 23, 1983, passed away on March 17, 2013 in the arms of her mother Kathleen (Newcomb) Allison and her fiance Dave Rusinovich. Her best friend Julie DeMarest was at her bedside. Predeceased by her father, William Allison; sister to Zachary Spencer; granddaughter to her most loving and caring grandparents Kathleen and David, Newcomb (Pop); niece to David Newcomb Jr, Carolyn Garland (John), along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends, especially the LOL and her dog, Keyshia. A special thank you to Dr. Rosen and staff at Albany Medical Center; Leigh and Ray. Jessica attended Blessed Sacrament School, graduated from Albany High School and HVCC in photography. Smiley has touched so many lives through her smile, heart and strength, she thought only of others, was selfless, and led her life to the fullest. Smiley was everything you would want to be as a person. She expressed herself through her passion for art and as a piercer for Shocker Tattoo; she had a "heart of stone." Her artistic capabilities were reflected in everything she did and made, she made every gift as special as she was. Some of her favorite things were teacup pigs, pigmy goats, cows, CVS gummy bears, sunny days, and scary movies, family vacations to Florida and road trips with her friends. A celebration of Jessica's life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 4-8 p.m. at the Fuller Road Fire Department Banquet Hall, 1342 Central Ave., Albany.
