Requiem Mass for Harry S. Carroll, a retired U.S. Army dentist, will be sung at 9 a.m. Friday in Fitzsimmons Chapel. Burial will be in Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Carroll, who lived at 1212 Cascade Ave, Boulder, died Monday in Fitzsimons General Hospital. He was 60.
He was born June 16, 1906 in Fremont, Nebr. He was graduated from the University of Nebraska Dental School and practiced in Lincoln, Nebr. before joining the Army in 1937 at Fitzsimmons General Hospital.
Mr. Carroll served in Europe during World War II and also in Panama. He retired in 1960 with the rank of Colonel. The same year he moved to Boulder from Aberdeen, Md.
On Aug 12, 1929 he married Miss Mary S. Witham in Boston.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Miss Mary Helen Carroll of Boulder; five sons, Maj. Henry S. Carroll, III of London, England, and Phillip L., Timothy A., Jon Craig and Stephen F. Carroll, all of Boulder, and two grandsons.
