Edward L. Anetsky served as a Sergeant in Company K, 157th U.S. Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division, United States Army during World War II.

He was a son of Andrew and Anna Anetsky.

He was killed in action in France on October 31, 1944.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army on May 5, 1943 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He was originally from Library, Pennsylvania.

He was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on February 2, 1949.
