Funeral services for William H. Acheson, 69, who died last Saturday, August 28, at Tacoma following a short illness, were held Tuesday, August 31, at 2 p.m. at the Kent Funeral Home, Howard Edline directing. Rev. Wilbur Snyder officiated. Interment was held at the Kent Cemetery.
Mr. Acheson, who was born on November 17, 1874, in West Bend, Iowa, came to Kent from Spokane and had lived for 18 years in this district. His home was at Route 3, Box 72.
Surviving Mr. Acheson are his wife, Emma T. Acheson; two sons, David and Harold Acheson; and six grandchildren, all of Kent."
