Death of Mrs. Adams
Mrs. Tabitha F. Adams passed away at her home in the mountains near Cloverdale on Friday morning after a long illness, suffering from cancer. Her husband, Wilson Adams, died a few weeks ago and it was believed at that time that she could no longer survive him. Mrs. Adams was born in Kentucky in 1831 and came to California in 1849. Since 1862 she had resided in this vicinity and leaves many friends. She was the mother of four sons and three daughters. Her children are all grown and reside near Cloverdale. The funeral will take place today, the remains to be brought to Cloverdale in the morning, and the services to be at Riverside cemetery between 12 and 1 o'clock.
