Son of Mary Rowe Culver and George Forrester Culver, William Truman Culver died suddenly at his home, Monday morning at 6 o'clock, (52 years of age).
He was born in Cambridge, Neb., Nov 28, 1880. He came to Oregon in 1902, living in Lane county since then. He was married on Oct 1, 1902, to Zora Baugh at Thurston. They farmed in that section until about five years ago when they came to Eugene. Mr. Culver was a member of the Elks lodge.
He is survived by his widow; one brother, A.B. Culver of Cambridge, Neb; sister, Mrs. C.H. Gilbert of Cambridge, and [half-sister] Mrs. J. J. Forrester of Pompano, Fla.
Funeral services from the Poole-Gray-Bartholomew chapel will be held Thursday (Feb 16) at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon cemetery. The Elks lodge will have charge of graveside services.
