She was a homemaker and a member of the Ashlock Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cline Stephens, her son, Dexter Stephens, her brother and sister in law, RB and Mattie Capps, her step sons, Olen and Jackie Stephens, and a step daughter in law Cornela Stephens. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Dixie Norris, her granddaughter, Jessica Stephens, her grandson, Dewayne Norris, her great-granddaughter, Jacey Salone Severe, her great-grandson, Deven Dewayne Norris, her daughter in law, Donita Stephens, her step-daughter Wilma Johnson and her friend, Jim Wagner, her step-sons, Tee Stephens, Georgia and Lou Ann Stephens, her stepdaughter in law, Rosie Stephens, 14 step grandchildren, 18 step great-grandchildren, and her special friend, Marion Murphy.
