Ruth M. Ackman, 80 of 537 Western Ave. Winchester died at 7A.M. Sunday June 23,2002 at her residence. She was born June 08, 1922 in Hamilton,Ohio to the late Edward and Laurel "Small" Smith. She was a home maker and she attended Friends Church of Winchester.
Survivors include one daugther Dianna (Cleo McFarland) of Winchester; two sons Arthur (wife Melody) Ackman and Walter (wife Lisa) Ackman both of Winchester, one sister Helen Bishop of Salt Lake City,Utah; 14 grandchildren; and 35 great grand children. She was preceded in death by ber husband William R. Ackman Sr. in 1967, two sons Ricky Lee Ackman and Willaim H. Ackman Jr. three siters Ethel Boswell,Hazel Stanley and Mammie Wasson, and three brothers John Sells, Hughey Smith, and Todd Smith.
Private family funeral services are 2 P.M. Wednesday with Ron Rerguson officating. Burial is at the Fountain Park Cemetery. Winchester Vistitation is 2-4 and 6-8 today at Walker Funeral Home.
