James H.Boulton, 78, of Santa Cruz and formerly of Modesto died yesterday in his Santa Cruz home after a long illness.
A native of Minnesota, he had lived in Modesto since 1927 before moving to the cost city two years ago. He and his widow owned and operated the Boulton Rest Home in Modesto for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Modesto.
Survivors are his widow, Alice; two sons, James Boulton of Sunnyvale and William Boulton of New York and Larence Boulton of Washington, four sisters, Mrs. Linday Smith of Illinois, Mrs. Lura Norton of Pasadena, Mrs. Elsie Erwin and Mrs. Hazel Clelland, both of Modesto, and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at noon tomorrow in Lakewood Memorial Park with White's Mortuary of Santa Cruz in charge.
