William BRUNDIGE (1741 - 1825) was born in the vicinity of Rye, New York. He was the son of Joseph BRUNDIGE and Elizabeth JENNINGS Brundige.
On 29 October 1761 at Rye, New York, William Brundige married Anna PURDY.
William Brundige served in the Revolutionary War while living in New York.
Through the years, he was a Baptist minister in New York, Virginia, and Ohio.
William Brundige and Anna Purdy Brundige were among the first settlers of Waldo, Marion County, Ohio.
William Brundige died on 12 November 1825. He had reached the age of 84 years.
William Brundige (1741 - 1825) and his wife Anna Purdy Brundige ( 1743 - 1823) are buried in historic Wyatt Cemetery near Waldo, Marion County, Ohio.

The First Elder of the Marlborough (now Marboro) Primitive Baptist Church (established 1808) until his death. The church was named for the town in Ulster County New York they departed for Western Virginia and then on to Ohio.|
