James K. P. Baty received his final pension payment through Nov. 24, 1924; he was paid at the rate of $50.00 per month. He was dropped from the pension rolls due to his death on Nov. 14, 1924. A copy of James K. P. Baty's
death certificate is in the file. He was 80 yrs, 3 months and 4 days old at his death. It shows a birthplace of Tennessee for both of his parents; his parents names are unknown. He was buried at Sumner cemetery on Nov. 14, 1924.
