Betty M. Condo (nee Cadle) Age 73, of Bridgeton, NJ, died at home, Tuesday evening, July 29, 2003 after a long struggle with cancer.
Born in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late, Chester Cadle and the late Gladys Cadle Hobbs. She was raised in the Charleston and attended commercial college there. She moved to Bridgeton to work at the former Owens-Illinois Glass Company. Mrs. Condo was the wife of Joseph J. Condo to whom she had been married for 37 years.
For 38 years she was employed at Owens and worked in the repack department at the time of her retirement. Following her retirement she worked as a teacher's aide in the Bridgeton School District.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 1 son, David J. Condo of Bridgeton and many nieces and nephews.
The Burial Office will be read and Requiem Eucharist celebrated Saturday morning, August 2, at 10 am at St. James Episcopal Church, Mill Creek Hundred, 2106 St. James Church Road, Wilmington, DE. The interment will be made in the church cemetery.
Friends will be received at the FREITAG FUNERAL HOME, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton, NJ on Friday evening from 7 to 9 and also at the church Saturday morning from 9 to 10.
