CMSgt. Fred Donald Davis, Ret., passed away Friday, July 20, 2007 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He was born in Elba, Alabama, August 1, 1935 to the late Gardie and Velma Thomaston Davis. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Hugh Davis. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 30 years of service and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW and worked for Falcon Jet where he retired after ten years.
He is survived by his wife Diane Davis of Jacksonville; daughter Kim and husband John Gentry; grandson, Ross Sisson and two step-granddaughters, Brittney and Lindsey Gentry; one brother Joe Davis of Macon, Georgia and a sister, Edna English of Elba, Alabama.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be Monday, July 23, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
