Mrs. Homer Bodle
Mrs. Lulu B. Bodle, 59, wife of Homer Bodle, died at 8:15 pm Thursday in the home, 156 South Third Street, after a long illness.
The daughter of Charles H. and Mary Elizabeth (Bevard) Foster, Mrs. Bodle was born Sep. 18, 1891, in McKean township, and lived in Newark and vicinity all of her life. She was a member of Mount Herman EUB Church.
Surviving are his husband, Homer Bodle, whom she married in June 1941; three sons, Forest E. Grubaugh, Earl R. and John H. Grubaugh, all of Newark; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Boyer of Thurston and Mrs. William Warner of Kirkersville; 11 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Lee C. Foster and Daniel W. Foster of Granville, John H. Foster in Ontario, Canada; two sisters, Mrs. Peter Doneff of Granville and Mrs. William A. Francis of Newark. A son, Carl A. Grubaugh is deceased, also two brothers, Clyde C. and James C. Foster.
The body is at the C. T. Egan & Son funeral home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday conducted by the Rev. Kenneth M. Lewis. Burial will be made in Wilson cemetery.
