McGUFFEY, Sept 10 -- Oliver Black, 41, formerly of here, died at 2 a.m. Friday at Oshtemo, Mich. He was the son of Harley Black of Shelbyville, Mich. His mother preceded him in death.
Mr. Black was a member of the Church of Christ in McGuffey.
He leaves his father, sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lay, Dunkirk; Mrs. Helen Seabert, Kenton; brothers, Oscar Black, Forest; Delbert Black, Dooster, Mich; William Black, Kalamazoo, Mich.
Services were Sunday afternoon in Shelbyville.

Oliver Black to Be Buried Sunday Afternoon at Shelbyville, Mich.
McGUFFEY, Sept. 7--Oliver Black, 41, formerly of McGuffey, died at 2 o'clock Friday morning in the District hospital at Oshtemo, Michigan.
He was the son of Harley Black of Shelbyville, Mich., and the late Mrs. Tima (Ream) Black who preceded (him) in death in 1933. Mr. Black was a member of the McGuffey Chruch of Christ.
Surviving are his father, two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lay of Dunkirk and Mrs. Helen Seabert of Kenton, and three brothers, Oscar Black of Forest, Delbert Black of Dooster, Mich., and William Black of Kalamazoo, Mich.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in Shelbyville.
