He married his second wife Meducy Ann Edwards the 17th of August 1845 in Pike County, Missouri. He and Meducy had one son, John J. Anderson born about 1847 Pike County, Missouri. His other children were Eliza born about 1826 in Mo., Reuben born 1828 MO.,, Henry born 1833 MO., Catherine born 1836 MO., and Lydia born 1840 MO.
