♥OUR BELOVED GREATGRANDPA AND HERO♥
His true first name's FRANCISZEK(it means in Polish "Frank/Francis").Frank is Pole and he was born on September 5th 1889 in Poland.He has never been married and he hadn't any children.
The life conditions were very poor and bad in Poland then,Poland wasn't a country after annexation of Poland in XVIII C,earlier Poland was big and independent country.This place,where they lived belonged then to Russia and Polish people had there very poor and hard life.There were the rests of feadual system there in Russia,so there was no justice for normal men.Frank worked in the farm of his parents in his childhood.
Grandpa Frank was first time in New York in the USA in 1910 year and he wanted to work there in Grand Rapids in the Michigan.He went with the ship "Zeeland" from Antwerpen in Belgium in January and he arrived to NY on Februar 9th 1910 at 9:45 a.m.He had to go back to Belgium with the ship "Krownland" on March 1st 1910.
He came 2nd time to the USA in Juni 1913 year.He was working as a labourer in Metal Fabrications in Beaver Falls in PA from 1913 to 1917 year and he lived in Beaver Falls.Grandpa Franciszek has been very creative,nice,friendly,cheerful man with sence of homour who likes joking.
He was in US army during wwI(US Marines)and he jointed the army in May 1917.He served in US 7th Infantry Regiment 3rd Division and was a hero and brave soldier.Frank took a part in the battle of Belleau Wood in France and he was severely wounded in battle in Château-Thierry in France probably on 15th July 1918.He died of wounds after long and very big suffering for independent Poland and the USA as a soldier in a field hospital in Chateau-Thierry, on July 24th 1918 his soul went to Heaven to our beloved Lord God and Saviour.He lived on this earth 28 years.
Greatgrandpa of me and my brother.He loved nature and animals.He was devoted roman catholic and great Polish patriot.He has been a model of catholic faith, courage, true love,friendship,loyalty and all another human virtues and wisdom.
