Ellen was a wonderful kind lady who was always willing to help others. Whatever she had she would share with them. She was especially well known for her cooking. She loved doing foods for pot lucks. Her specialty was fried chicken and her "yummy" cold slaw. She was always asked to bring the chicken or the cold slaw dish to the family outings. I remember her creamy milk gravy, it was the best. She was the mother to four children. Three boys and one daughter. She loved her grandchildren and was always buying little gifts for them. She was family oriented and loved having get together's at her home. She was caregiver for her husband Sy.
