Death of Mrs. C. C. Campbell
On Wednesday, January 30, at 4:30 o'clock Mrs. C. C. Campbell passed away at the family home on Eight and Cypress Streets.
Mary Hurst was born August 8, 1854, at Potosi, Wisconsin and on January 20, 1871 became the bride of C. C. Campbell.
The made their home in De Soto, Missouri until 1912, when they re-moved to Teague. Eight children were born to this happy couple, seven of whom survive her, their youngest daughter, Miss Dymple, having passed away about a year ago.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church at 3:30 o'clock, and will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. Lyle H. Gillham. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery at 4:30.
She is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. S. L. Ryan of St. Louis, and the following seven children: Mrs. J. D. Maupin, Teague; Mrs. O. T. Maupin, Jacksonville; George Campbell, Miss Grace Campbell, Fred Campbell, Mrs. O. Gideon and Mrs. Jim King all of Teague.
