Pauline Nobles Antilley

Pauline Nobles Antilley born October 7, 1921 in Hilly, LA left for her heavenly home on March 6, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Although she spent her childhood in Lincoln and Bienville Parishes, her adult life as a military spouse was spent in numerous locations in the United States and overseas. She was a homemaker and retired bookkeeper and resided in Ruston the last six years of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Master Sargeant Milton Louis Antilley, Sr. of Natchitoches, LA; her son-in-law Ronald "Ronnie" Wayne Johnson of Ruston; her father George Warren Nobles, her mother Dovie Caskey Nobles Heard of Shreveport, LA, and two sisters. The greatest joys of her life were times spent with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Antilley Johnson-Beasley and husband Don of Ruston; son Milton Louis Antilley, Jr. of Austin, TX; daughter-in-law Julie Funderburk Antilley of Austin, TX; her grandsons, Lance Edward Antilley and wife Carolyn of Jarrell, TX, Jeffrey Starks Johnson of Ponchatoula, LA, Bradley Nobles Johnson and wife Chere of Plain Dealing, LA, Joshua Patrick Antilley of Jarrell, TX and Michael Rennie Bailey and wife Suzanne of Ruston; granddaughter, Laura Antilley Ryon and husband Ken of Leander, TX. According to her she had eight of the smartest and most beautiful great-grandchildren in the world, Paul Anderson Johnson, Hayden Rich Johnson, Case Crawford Johnson, Beau Starks Johnson, Rhett Walker Johnson, Elizabeth Anne Ryon, Sterling Michael Bailey and Stafford Michael Bailey; a sister Melba Nobles Kolb; numerous nieces and nephews and a large family of loving caretakers at Alpine Guest Care Center in Ruston. Her happy smile and sweet disposition will be missed by all. A military graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 26th at the Alexandria National Cemetery in Pineville, LA where she will be interred with her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
