Charles C.Andrews,69,died of a cerebral hemorrhage Saturday at his home. He was known to his friends as "Major" died after a months serious illness. He had been ill for many months before hi death. He had been in business for more than 50 years but was forced to retire due to his health. He was a member of the St.Johns Episcopal church.
He was born on June 30,1865 in Pardeville,Wis. He moved to Decatur as a boy of 16 with his parents,Mr.and Mrs. Thomas Andrews. On June 9,1899 he married Miss Minnie Lehman of Decatur. He leaves his wife,son,Prof.Franklyn Andrews of Illinois State Teachers college,Charleston, two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be Monday in the Moran chapel with burial in the Greenwood cemetery.
