"Louis Thomas Antalek, 87, of Rockledge, Fla., and formerly of Natick, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at the Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice, following a brief illness.
"He was the husband of Helen Yvonne (Ramsey) Antalek and the late Helen (Mullen) Antalek.
"Born and raised in Natick, he was the son of the late Louie and Teresa (Varva) Antalek and had been a resident of Rockledge since 1947.
"He began his working career at the Banana River Naval Air Station in Florida and retired from Civil Service at Patrick Air Force base in 1973.
"A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in the European Theatre.
"Besides his wife, he leaves a stepson, James G. Tibbetts and his wife, Benny, of Merritt Island, Fla.; a sister, Margaret Lentini and her husband, Vito, of Natick; his sister-in-law, Rita Antalek of Bellingham; and his many nieces and nephews, with whom he had a special relationship.
"He was the brother of the late Bertold, John, Antonio and Frances Antalek and Josephine Svets.
"A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 30, at 11 a.m., at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Natick.
"There will be no funeral home visiting hours.
"Memorial donations may be made to the Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice, c/o Wuesthoff Health System Foundation, P.O. Box 565002, Rockledge, FL 32956-5002.
"Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home at Natick Common."
