David Wayne Sullivan, 56, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, at the Medical Center in Butner, N.C.
Born July 29, 1949, in Gideon, Mo., son of the late D.G. "Cotton" and Jennie Lee Lowery Sullivan, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Florrisant, Mo., Malden VFW and the Malden American Legion.
On March 26, 1968, in Gideon, he married Marilyn Vantrease, who preceded him in death on April 15, 2002. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Larry Sullivan.
Survivors include two sons, David and John Sullivan, both of Florissant; one brother, Steven Sullivan and wife, Loma, of Arnold, Mo.; one sister, Carolyn Denning and husband, Danny, of Fairdealing, Ky.; one grandson, Tyler Stout, of Florissant and one granddaughter, Alyssa Stout, of Florissant.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.
Burial will follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
