Funeral services for Nora Patricia Abood of 354 Olive St. will be held today at 10:30 a.m. today in St. John's Catholic Church.

Miss Abood died about 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Schumpert Medical Center after a long illness.

Miss Abood was a native of Lebanon and had been a resident of Shreveport for 50 years. She was the owner of Line Avenue Grocery Store and a member of St. John's Catholic Church; the Altar Society, St. Raphael's Guild and the Queen's Workers.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. David Korkmas of Tyler, Tex.; one nephew and three nieces.

Officiating for the services will be the Rev. Joseph Browning, pastor of St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Ferris, Fred Nackley Jr., Louis Moossy, Joe Ferris, Sam Alberts and Dennis Szot.

A rosary was held Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel.
