Mrs. Zanie J. Avery, 86, of Lizella, died in her home at 9:30 a.m. today. The widow of Charlie Jackson Avery, she was born in Taylor County, the daughter of Dock Johnson and Fannie Aultman Johnson. She was a member of West Macon Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, C. N. Avery of Lizella and B. T. Avery of Cuthbert; one daughter, Mrs. R. J. Warren of Macon; 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. C. O. Fuller of Macon, and Mrs. Annie Averett of Atlanta. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Hart's Mortuary.
