Long-standing member of Corienth Road Church of Christ, Jacksonville, Texas. Also belonged to Afton Grove Baptist Church. Passed away with his children at his side. Buried at Still Waters Cemetary in Jacksonville. His wife of 51 years is buried at Rest Heaven Cemetary, Jacksonville. His second wife, Maxine, is intended to be buried next to him upon her death.
