Edward Bias was the son of Reuben and Mary (Ewing) BIAS. His father, Reuben was from Amherst Co, VA and after his marriage to Mary the family moved to Indiana.
Edward served in the Union Army in the Civil War, Co F, 147th Indiana Infantry and Co G, 36th Indiana Infantry. He received a pension for his service and after his death.
Edward was married to Mary Jane (UNKNOWN at this time) and they had no children that I have been able to find records for, she is also buried here. Edward's brother, Sylvester Bias is also buried here.
