Friends and relatives, especially the brothers of the Hoboken Lodge No. 161, D.O.H., the Blücher Lodge No. 181 and the Ziethen Lodge No. 351, D.O.H., the sad news is that my beloved husband Johann Hermann Dirksen from Gnarrenburg, Hannover, has died at the age of 42 years. God the Almighty who holds sway over the living and dead has him taken to the hereafter.
The Wake begins on Sunday, 20 Sept. promptly at 1:30 p. m.from the house of sadness at the corner of Grand and 3rd Streets where you are invited to a friendly table.
The grieving widow: Meta Dirksen and children, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law.
