Funkenbusch and Maude Eveyln Lee Funkenbusch.FUNERAL TUESDAY FOR URSA YOUTH-Everett Funkenbusch, 17, Died at Home in Maywood, MO., Saturday--Ursa, IL, April 7.--Funeral services for Everett Funkenbush, 17, who died Saturday at his home in Maywood, MO, were held Tuesday at the Baptist church in Ursa. The boy, a former resident of this vicinity, was buried in the New Providence cemetery.
Everett Funkenbush was born near Ursa in 1908, and until six years ago lived with his parents on a farm south of here. They then moved to Maywood, MO, where they have lived since.
The youth was active in church and Sunday school work in Maywood. The funeral services were in charge of the Rev. Mr. Maix of that place. Singers at the funeral were Mrs. William Mitchell, Mrs. Elmer Markword, and A.J. Jordan. Miss Joy Jordan played the piano.
Surviving Everett Funkenbush are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Funkenbush, a brother, Arch Funkenbush of Maywood and a sister, Mrs. Robert Campbell of Ursa.
Pneumonia was the cause of his death.
