Tamara "Tammy" Smith Nixon, 30, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 1991, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a member of Westark Church of Christ and a 1978 graduate of Northside High School.
Funeral will be 3 pm today in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by a son, Bobby Earl of Lavaca; her mother, Barbara Binns Smith of Fort Smith; her father, Darrel E. Smith of Georgia; a sister, Tiffany Griffin of Forest, LA; a brother, Tim Smith of Dallas; her maternal grandmother, Blanche K. Binns of Fort Smith; her paternal grandparents, Claude and Reba Smith of Alma.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Kidder Jr., Mallory and Billy Gallagher, Arlis Daniels, Leonard Housley, Terry Graves and Clint Hooper.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Westark Church of Christ Library.
