Anna Emelia Struck Scantlebury Brainard (72)was the daughter of Susanna Gujer (1844-1923 Swiss immigrant) and John Henry Struck (1832-1887 German immigrant) who settled in Kilbourn City Columbia County, WI. She married (1) John Scantlebury and (2) Henry David Ross Brainard, son of James Brainard and Violet Catherine Nicol Brainard, formerly of St. Lawrence County, NY.
Anna and Henry were married on Oct. 10, 1929 in Iowa. They farmed in Union Township, Mitchell County 1 mile west of David, Iowa. They were members of the Methodist Church in Stacyville, IA. (no children)
Anna is preceded in death by her parents John and Susanna and a sister, Matilda Susanna Struck (1867-1911) who married Andrus B Pulver.
