SIMPSON, SHIRLEY M., Shirley M. Simpson has ascended the stairs to heaven. Born (January 25) 1926 to Eugene & Juanita Dawson, she grew up in Norman Oklahoma in the shadow of Oklahoma University.

Married to Harry E Simpson for 56 years. Preceded in death by her parents and one brother Robert Dawson.

She is survived by her husband Harry, 3 children: H. Ralph (Birdie), Martha (Don Ridall), S. Louise; brother LeRoy Dawson (Johanna), sister-in-law Rubye Dawson; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew.

Shirley was active in her church for over 50 years helping sew infant burial gowns for indigent families and lap robes for nursing homes.

Harry & Shirley enjoyed the church, gardening and were active members of SW Live Steamers.

Her husband, children family & friends will always cherish her memory.

Family will receive friends at the church after the memorial service, which will be 1:30 Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 6550 Samuel Blvd, Dallas. Visitation will be 6-8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Dallas Laurel Land 214-371-1336 laurellandfuneralhome.com
